Musculoskeletal Imaging
Overview
Peninsula Radiology and our dedicated team of Board-Certified Fellowship Trained musculoskeletal radiologist offers a full spectrum of imaging services for your musculoskeletal needs. These services include x-ray, CT, MRI, musculoskeletal ultrasound, and bone mineral density studies. In addition, we perform musculoskeletal interventional procedures to include joint injections either for pain relief or prior to MRI/CT, bone and soft tissue biopsies, and joint aspirations. Thanks to these technologies and our expert staff, we are able to diagnose all disorders of the musculoskeletal system.
Our fellowship trained musculoskeletal Imaging radiologists work closely with our other departments such as Orthopedics, Rheumatology, Trauma Surgery, and Oncology to ensure that every diagnosis is accurate and that treatment plans for musculoskeletal conditions are the most effective available.
Musculoskeletal Imaging staff members are up to date on current advancements in the field and remain actively involved in national organizations, including the Society of Skeletal Radiology, The American Roentgen Ray Society, the Radiological Society of North America and the American College of Radiology.
We at Peninsula Radiology Associates take great pride to serve the Tidewater Community’s musculoskeletal imaging needs with caring and dedication. It is an honor and a privilege to be a part of your health care team.
