Neuroradiology
Overview
Neuroradiology is a sub-specialty of radiology focusing on diagnosing abnormalities of the Brain, Spine, and Peripheral Nervous System. It also characterizes abnormalities of the Head and Neck, including the Eyes, Ears, Nose/Sinuses, and Throat.
Peninsula Radiological Associates has three fellowship trained neuroradiologists who work in close collaboration with Neurology, Neurosurgery, Neuro-Interventional/Stroke services, ENT, Ophthamology, Radiation Oncology/Gamma knife, and Endocrinology. We attend weekly conferences where difficult and unusual cases are discussed with a multi-specialty approach regarding diagnosis and different potential treatments.
