Dr. Matthew Dopp graduated summa cum laude from Pacific Union College with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. He earned his medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and served as Vice President of the school’s chapter for the academic year 2017- 2018. Dr. Dopp went on to complete a Transitional Year at Riverside Community Hospital (University of California Riverside affiliate), where he was a member of the transitional year interview committee. He then completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Loma Linda University, serving as chief resident during his final year, and contributing as a member of the School of Medicine interview committee and the Department of Radiology Quality Improvement Committee. Following residency, he pursued fellowship training in Neuroradiology at Loma Linda University, where he dedicated additional research time to Pediatric Neuroradiology.
After completing his fellowship, Dr. Dopp worked as a radiologist with Sutter Health in the San Francisco Bay Area for a year. He is a member of the American College of Radiology and the Virginia Radiologic Society.
Dr. Dopp lives in Williamsburg with his wife, children, and dogs. In his free time, he enjoys surfing, snowboarding and skiing, hiking, photography, and cooking.
